Promotional Tools

LabelGrid has promotional features built into the platform — a hosted landing page and smart link for every release, pre-save dates, and direct posting to social platforms. The same smart-link experience is also available on your own branded domain through the LabelGrid WordPress Plugin, and Promoly export covers full marketing campaigns.

Pre-Save Dates

When you create or edit a release, you can set a Pre-Save / Pre-Order Date under the Date Settings tab. Once a release has a pre-save date set, fans who follow the release on supporting platforms can be notified and have it auto-saved on release day.

Pre-save plumbing is handled by the platforms themselves — LabelGrid sends the metadata, the DSP handles the fan-facing pre-save flow.

Posting to Social Platforms

From the My Releases page, click the three-dots menu on any release row to access:

• Post to Bandcamp — uploads the release directly to your connected Bandcamp account
• Post to Soundcloud — uploads the release directly to your connected Soundcloud account
• Post to YouTube — uploads the release directly to your connected YouTube channel (audio video format)
• Post to Instagram — generates a promotional clip and opens the Instagram post flow

These are direct posting actions tied to your distribution settings — they use the same release files you have already uploaded.

Export to Promoly

Under the Marketing menu you will find an Export to Promoly option. This packages release metadata and assets for use in a Promoly campaign (Promoly is a third-party promotional platform).

Release Landing Pages — Hosted by LabelGrid

Every release can have its own public landing page hosted by LabelGrid, with a Pre-Save on Spotify button before launch, streaming and download buttons after release, optional fan email capture, and built-in analytics. Turn them on with the Enable Landing pages switch in your label settings (Website tab). See Release Landing Pages for the full walkthrough.

Smart Links — Built In

A smart link is a single URL you can share everywhere that sends each fan to the release on the platform they already use. You do not need a website, a plugin, or a third-party service to get one: the hosted release landing page above is your smart link.

Every release page gives you:

• One shareable URL at links.labelgrid.com/{label-slug}/r/{catalog-number}, plus a short lbl.gr link for social bios, ads, and print.
• A Pre-Save on Spotify button before release day, and buttons for the streaming and download platforms the release is live on afterwards.
• Optional fan email capture (which can be required before a fan pre-saves), configurable pre-save actions, and Landing Analytics.

Turn them on with Enable Landing pages in your label settings (Website tab), or per release from the Landing Page panel. Full walkthrough: Release Landing Pages.

Smart links over the API

On an API plan you can create and configure the same landing pages programmatically. Paths are relative to the public base path /api/public:

Endpoint	What it does
POST /releases/short-url	Creates — or returns the existing — lbl.gr short link for a release
GET /releases/{release}/landing-config	Reads the release’s landing-page configuration
PUT /releases/{release}/landing-config	Enables the page and sets page style, call-to-action text, description, pre-order links, and Spotify pre-save actions

A release’s current short link also comes back as the short_url field on the release itself, so GET /releases gives you the links for your whole catalogue in one read.

Note

These are per-release calls — there is no bulk or batch endpoint. To cover a whole catalogue, loop the per-release calls.

The same smart links on your own domain — the WordPress Plugin

Hosted landing pages are one of two ways LabelGrid delivers the smart-link experience. The other is the LabelGrid WordPress Plugin: it renders the same per-release landing pages — streaming and store links, Spotify pre-save buttons with artist and playlist follow actions, and gated downloads — on your own branded WordPress domain, and brings your full catalogue and artist profiles along, synced from your LabelGrid account. The hosted pages are the zero-setup default; the plugin is the same feature delivered on your own site, and it is available on any plan.

Third-party smart-link services such as Linkfire and Linktree remain an option if their campaign tooling suits how you work, but they are not needed to get a smart link for a LabelGrid release.
