My release isn't showing on my public website

This guide is about your LabelGrid public website — your label site at sites.labelgrid.com/your-label, or the release pages your WordPress plugin builds. It is not about streaming stores. If a release isn’t on Spotify, Apple Music, or other stores, see Troubleshooting instead.

Pick the section that matches where your release isn’t showing.

If a release isn’t appearing on your LabelGrid public site, run through this checklist — each item is a gate the release has to pass:

  • Your public website must be turned on. Switch on the Enable Public website toggle in your label’s Website Settings tab. It’s off by default.
  • The release’s landing page must be active. Make sure the One-Sheet / landing page is enabled for that release.
  • The release must have passed review. Only approved releases show. A release that’s still in draft, in review, has changes requested, or was rejected won’t appear.
  • The release must be finalized and published.
  • The release date must be today or earlier. Future-dated releases are hidden — unless your label has “allow web previews before release” enabled, in which case upcoming releases can preview up to about 30 days early.
  • The release must not be set to Private. Private releases are excluded from your public site.

If you use the LabelGrid WordPress plugin and a release isn’t showing on your WordPress site:

  • Give catalog sync time to run. The plugin imports your catalog from LabelGrid automatically on a schedule, so a brand-new release may not appear until the next sync. LabelGrid is the source of truth — the plugin pulls from it.
  • Confirm the release meets the conditions above. The plugin imports releases from your LabelGrid catalog, so a release that’s still in draft, in review, or future-dated won’t sync to your site yet.
  • Check your page is set up to display releases. Make sure the release-list or release-detail shortcode (or widget) is placed on the page where you expect the release to appear. See the WordPress Plugin guide for shortcode setup.

If you’ve worked through the checklist and your release still isn’t appearing, contact our support team and we’ll take a look.
